We have a very active prayer shawl ministry called "Joyful Stitchers." We meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. By no means are you required to attend our meetings to participate in this ministry, but we do so enjoy getting together to share in one accord! Our monthly meetings include a portion of business and discussion as well as sharing in a sewing circle. We have regular blessing services for both completed shawls as well as partial shawls. We also make "head-hugger" hats for chemo patients, and these hats are also blessed with our prayer shawls.

Prayer shawls may be ordered for anyone in need of a personal blessing, whether the need is physical, emotional, or spiritual. Order forms are available in the Narthex or the church office. Our shawls are sent out with a hand-made enclosure card explaining the blessing of the shawl to the recipient. We are continually amazed at just how deep the blessings are from this simple caring gesture!

Note: During income tax season we will meet in Sunday School room #301 (Upstairs), where we usually meet during warmer months.  If there is inclemenet weather we will activate our calling system we discussed previously, calling each other should we need to cancel a meeting.
